Houston VCF Soccer Academy participate in PUMA Cup
Teams from the VCF Soccer Academy in Houston represented Valencia CF in the PUMA Cup, a tournament held in the first weekend of February in the American city.

Nearly a hundred teams between the age groups of Under-10s and Under-15s, hailing from all around the state of Texas, participated in the tournament which takes the name of Valencia CF's official kit partner.
On behalf of the Houston VCF Soccer Academy, three teams competed in the categories of '2011' (Under-11s), '2008' (Under-13s) and '2006' (Under-15s), on a weekend full of football and fun.

The VCF teams had strong performances, with the Under-13s reaching the final of their group. The Under-11s placed fourth, and the Under-15s second. Full results of the tournament can be found here: http://dynamospumacup.com/

The VCF Soccer Academy in Houston is part of the Valencia CF International Academies project, which has 4 such schemes in North America: Montreal in Canada and New York, Seattle and the Houston in the USA. The aim is to spread the working methodology used by the VCF Academy at the Ciudad Deportiva and promote the Valencia CF brand around the world.
